St. Mary’s High School prepares the students not only to excel in the examinations but also to become responsible citizens in the future. NCC helps the students to acquire such good qualities as discipline, courage, social awareness, patriotism and service-mindedness. At present there are 50 boys and girls in the NCC. The cadets get training in parade, Gun-firing, drilling etc. Cadets who complete two years course appear for “C” level examination which is very useful for their future. Under the observation of school’s ANO Mr. Arun Dabhi and Care - Taker Sr. Indu, the cadets of St. Mary’s High School has been declared one of the best cadets since last three years. Ms. Sergeant Isha was decaled as the best cadet last year (2008-2009) and was awarded certificate and cash prize of Rs. 3000. |

| Scout and Guide | ||

Scout and Guide was started here in the school in 2008. There are 80 students (boys and girls) who enthusiastically participate in various activities like cycle-riding, swimming, trekking, hiking and picnic. Scout and Guide give importance to discipline and social service. Under the guidance of Mr. Parmar Prakash, Mrs. Bhatt Nisha and Ms. Parmar Jainu this activity is going on very well. |

| Science Club | ||
Science Club consists of the science teachers and some students who have keen interest in the subject of science. Different activities like science fair, science quiz, project work etc. are conducted in the school by this club. The purpose of this club is to create interest in the subject and help the students to be creative and become little scientists. |

| English Club | ||

Those students from 8th, 9th and 11th standards who like to learn English Language gather every Saturday after the school. There are more than 60 members in the club this academic year. The emphasis is given to Spoken English. The students are taught prayers, songs, stories, rhymes and conversation in English by using LCD projectors, Flash Cards and DVD shows by the experts in this field. The club is managed by Mr. Arun Dabhi , Mr. Robin Walter and Mrs.Sneha Macwan. |

| Drawing Club | ||
Students who are interested in drawing, pencil sketch, painting, card making are the members of the club. The aim of this club is to bring out the hidden talents of the students in different ways as part of co-curricular activities. For this purpose, competitions are organized. Our students take part in the completions organized by Lions Club and Jaycee Club every year. Some of the best drawings of the students are displayed on the notice board to encourage and appreciate and encourage them. |

| Sports Club | ||

The purpose of this club is to promote sports by selecting and coauching students for various sports and games and help them to win. Our students are trained to play football, basketball and volleyball beside athletics. Fr. Justin and Mr. Vijay put extra effort to organize different tournament including “Sports Day” every year. Our students take part in District and State level competitions and win several medals and certificated. They participate in “Good Will Games” held at St. Xavier’s High school, Hansol, Ahmedabad ever year. |
